Come and enjoy a fantastic evening at the Village Hall where you can bid for some amazing things, and at the same time raise some money to help maintain our VILLAGE HALL.

People have offered all sorts of things, experiences, skills, goodies, and 'promises' and there is still plenty of time for you to offer more. What are you good at? What unusual things do you like doing? You may think that nobody would be interested - but past experience of such Auctions has shown that someone will bid a really good price for something unusual. Please pick up the phone a ring either 01538 702150 or 01538 702189, and we will include your promise in the Auction Catalogue. Or you could write out your promise on a piece of paper and drop it in at Alton Tiles in the High Street.

Also, as we have some really fantastic 'promises' up for auction, if you cannot attend the auction you can email us a hidden bid. Supposing you send a 'secret bid' of £50 and the bidding on the evening from the floor goes to £40 in £5 bids, then you will only pay £45. If the bidding goes above £50 - hard luck! Click on 'Contact us' at the bottom of the menu on the left and tell us the exact item and how much you are willing to pay. It must arrive before 9.00 a.m. on Thursday 8th May.
