The Village is featuring in 'A Country Parish' on Radio Stoke and we will soon be starting an Alton Village Blog to run alongside that series. A big thank you to everybody who contributed or took part in the Auction of Promises on May 9th which raised £1400 towards the Village Hall.

You will find here the most complete list of Accommodation in Alton, as well as details of forthcoming events on our Local Events calendar If you are organising something and would like others to know about it please let us have the details to include in the Calendar - it doesn't matter how far ahead. You can find where everything is in the Village with our Google map. on which you can easily find anything listed on the web site eg - everything on our Accommodation page, the Churches, School, Village Hall, Health centre, Pubs and Restaurants and so much more.

We are developing a directory of Local Attractions which we hope will be useful for both visiters and residents. We have recently installed a Photo Gallery to build up a library of pictures of places and events connected with Alton. The Bulletin Boards are provided for the various committees and councils in the village to post their minutes and any other information.
